Only full admission Australian wine producers have the opportunity to submit their wines for inclusion in the lunches, dinners and some of the tastings that will be held throughout Savour Australia 2013 including:
  • Lunches on the Monday and the Tuesday of the program.
  • The food and wine night market on the final evening of the program.
  • The Grand Tasting (Note, there will be an additional cost of $250 to show wines as part of this tasting. This additional fee covers the cost of setting up an appropriate tasting table and providing catering and staff for a well-managed trade tasting. This tasting will also be open for Australian trade and media to attend).
  • Themed tasting bars and blind tasting area.
  • Wines for the Landmark Australia wine tastings will be selected by a panel of Australian wine professionals and media to best represent the diversity and quality of Australian wine and showcase wines that exemplify Australia’s ultimate wine offering.

Conditions of wine selection:

  1. Wines for the lunches on Monday and Tuesday, the food and wine night market on Tuesday night, the themed tasting bars and the blind tasting will be chosen according to the theming of each function.
  2. Wine Australia will contact full admission Australian wine producers to nominate their wines in the lead up to Savour Australia 2013 to determine the quantities of wine required.
  3. Please be aware that Wine Australia will make the final decision about wines to be poured at every tasting occasion, lunch and dinner. The final selection will be based on balancing representation across all producers, regions and styles, while showcasing Australia’s quality and diversity.
